Lilith, is a zek, a genetically engineered nonhuman in a post-collapse dystopian society of the future. Like the ones bred before her, she believes she must only do what she is told to live. And that is to accomplish her missions. Designed to be beautiful, she struggles with self-criticism and her place in this world. Could this be it for her and society? Is the world really go to end because of greed, war, and inhumanity?

After her disastrous first mission,  she feels betrayed and discovers secrets behind the global game of power and how she is just a pawn, but also how she might become a queen, even the savior of all the new species in a new world.

Inspired by a longing for peace and driven by a hope for a new future, Lilith must harness her abilities, discover her true origins, and find the genetic ark that will survive the apocalypse and birth a new world.
