An Alec Winters Series Complete, Books 1-4 contains the entire, unabridged series. Prelude, Book 1 – Prelude is the backstory of Alec Winters and was actually written almost two years after Crescent City was published because the story wasn’t finished. Prelude introduces the rest of the series characters. Alec was born in New Orleans, Louisiana but was unaware of his family’s history or his destiny. Now, sixteen years old, he’d lived there all his life. He’d thought he was happy, as many of us do, until he discovered that his life was a lie and that he had a far greater purpose. Once he discovered the truth, he had two options: acceptance or denial. Acceptance meant change. Change is difficult and painful while denial simply resumes the status quo. Denial meant that Alec could remain blind and continue to live his life without understanding. With everything going his way as a popular star quarterback, loved by students and faculty alike, and a young girlfriend he adored, Alec didn’t want anything to change. He had his life planned out for the foreseeable future. However, Alec soon learned that “one day it isn’t and the next day it is.” Crescent City, Book 2 – In Crescent City, Alec has been gone from New Orleans for twenty years. Originally written as a stand-alone novel, Crescent City is the darkest of all the books in the series and repeats the story of Alec’s transformation and arrest, Catalina’s ordeal, and Sabrina’s life-changing decisions. It contains graphic violence and language as Alec returns home to systematically rid the city streets of despicable predators while rescuing their innocent victims. Port City, Book 3 – In Port City, Alec travels to Mobile, Alabama for his professional work and his personal crusade and vengeance against evil men and women everywhere. In New Orleans his life is beginning to develop in the way he had always hoped it would with Sabrina. Harbor City, Book 4 – In Harbor City, the exciting conclusion, Alec’s job takes him to Melbourne, Florida, but his story continues and concludes in New Orleans.
