Randy McKay anticipated a relaxing family vacation to Sitka, Alaska. He never expected murder to be on the agenda.
Randy's cousin, Ed Sarkov, had a long, frictional history with the victim and, after a public argument days before the murder, becomes the prime suspect.
Convinced of his cousin's innocence, Randy begins to investigate. When the police find the probable murder weapon on his cousin's property, Ed's attorney asks Randy to join the defense team.
